Golden State Warriors guard Monta Ellis was hospitalized Friday night after injuring his head in practice. He lay face down for 20 minutes, showing only slight movement before he was carried off the court on a stretcher. Ellis hit his head on teammate Brandan Wright's knee. Ellis was coming off a screen set by Wright, lost his footing as he tried to split a pair of defenders and slammed his head against Wright's knee as he fell to the floor, the San Francisco Chronicle said.
