Hedo Turkoglu scored 20 points to lead the Orlando Magic to a 90-85 win Sunday night over the Charlotte Bobcats. Mickael Pietrus scored 18 points, Rashard Lewis had 17 and Jameer Nelson had 15 for Orlando. All-Star center Dwight Howard was shut down by Charlotte's defense, scoring just four points, and fouled out for the first time this season with 3:18 remaining.

The Bobcats sent the Nuggets a future protected first-round pick, and now have two picks in the first round. Charlotte also holds the ninth overall pick. The move could give Charlotte an option to take both a big man and a point guard in the draft, two areas of need.

Richardson scored 34 points, and the Bobcats stretched their winning streak to a franchise-record five consecutive games by holding off the Washington Wizards 100-97 Saturday night. The Bobcats, who are in their fourth season of existence, went 1-11 during February, but they are 5-0 in March.

Childress to miss at least 1 game
The Atlanta Hawks are without guard Josh Childress for at least one game because of a knee injury. Childress will miss Wednesday night's game at Charlotte after suffering an injury to his right knee in Tuesdays game. The Hawks say the injury is a mild hyperextension. Childress is the team's top backup. He completed Tuesday's game, a 94-90 loss to Detroit, and accompanied the team to Charlotte. Childress is fourth on the team with an average of 12.2 points per game.

Bobcats' Wallace cleared to play; three others out

Emeka Okafor scored 21 points and had 16 rebounds and Gerald Wallace added 21 points to help the Charlotte Bobcats beat the injury-depleted Chicago Bulls 90-77 on Friday night. Chicago played without its top two scorers, Ben Gordon (wrist) and Luol Deng (Achilles' tendinitis).
