The Philadelphia 76ers finally have a winning streak -- and the New York Knicks to thank for it. Willie Green scored 18 points, and the 76ers completed a home-and-home sweep of the Knicks with a 105-77 victory Saturday night. Andre Iguodala added 17 points and Reggie Evans had 14 rebounds for the 76ers, who beat the Knicks 101-90 Friday in Philadelphia.




Dalembert helps 76ers beat Wizards 85-84 (AP)

Samuel Dalembert had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Andre Miller scored 18 points to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to an 85-84 victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night. Willie Green and Reggie Evans added 13 points each for the Sixers (5-10), who snapped a two-game losing streak at home and a four-game skid against the Wizards.

The Bobcats went from unbeaten in the first two games to beaten badly in the next two. So much for the confidence and momentum built off their perfect start. Andre Iguodala scored 19 points, Willie Green had 14 and the Philadelphia 76ers jumped on Charlotte early and never let up in a 94-63 win Wednesday night, sending the Bobcats back to .500 after a brief undefeated streak.




KG, Pierce sit as Boston falls to Philly
With Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett dressed in suits on the bench, the Boston Celtics lost for the first time in four preseason games 96-78 to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. Jason Smith had 16 points, while Andre Iguodala, Rodney Carney and Willie Green added 14 to lead the 76ers (1-4) in the game played at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Ray Allen, a former Connecticut standout, scored 16 points for the Celtics (3-1) and James Posey added 12 points.
