The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Tyronn Lue and forward Malik Allen, giving new coach Scott Skiles two more veterans to work with. The team did not reveal terms of either contract. The 31-year-old Lue played for Atlanta and Dallas last season, averaging 5.8 points and 1.5 assists in 50 games. The 6-foot guard was drafted out of Nebraska with the 23rd pick in the 1998 draft.

Nowitzki, Lue help Mavs pound Pacers (AP)

Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 points and new backup point guard Tyronn Lue had 13 points in 15 minutes, carrying the Dallas Mavericks past the Indiana Pacers, 116-97 Friday night in their latest pounding of an Eastern Conference bottom feeder. Dallas won its fourth straight, all at home and all against the weakest teams in the weaker conference.

The Dallas Mavericks signed free agent Tyronn Lue on Tuesday to be their backup point guard. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. The Sacramento Kings waived Lue on Friday. He was acquired from Atlanta on Feb. 16, but never played for the Kings. Lue averaged 6.8 points, 1.8 assists, 1.2 rebounds over 17 minutes in 33 games for the Hawks.

The Sacramento Kings waived point guard Tyronn Lue on Friday, putting another veteran free agent on the market for teams looking for depth down the stretch and in the playoffs. Lue never played for the Kings. He was acquired Feb. 16 as part of a trade that brought Anthony Johnson, Sheldon Williams and Lorenzen Wright from Atlanta.

Hawks agree to acquire Bibby from Kings (AP)
The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to acquire veteran point guard Mike Bibby from the Sacramento Kings. Hawks owner Michael Gearon Jr. says the Hawks are to send four players to the Kings. Among them are 2007 first-round pick Shelden Williams and starting point guard Anthony Johnson. The Hawks also would send guard Tyronn Lue and veteran forward-center Lorenzen Wright to the Kings.

Travis Outlaw sank a long jumper with one second left in overtime to lift the Portland Trail Blazers over the Atlanta Hawks 111-109 Monday. Guarded by Josh Smith, Outlaw held the ball outside the 3-point line until under 5 seconds remained. Then Outlaw took a couple of dribbles inside the circle before pulling up and making the jumper.

Josh Smith and the Atlanta Hawks have suddenly found a steeliness on the road. Smith scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to help Atlanta erase a 21-point deficit in a 94-87 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night. Wizards avoid first 0-6 start, top Hawks (AP)

The Washington Wizards avoided the first 0-6 start in franchise history, beating the Atlanta Hawks 101-90 Sunday behind Caron Butler's 24 points. All five Washington starters scored in double figures for the first time this season. Antawn Jamison had 23 points and 15 rebounds, and Brendan Haywood also posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
