The Indiana Pacers announced Tuesday that they will keep Bird as team president after he met with owner Herb Simon in Los Angeles. The Pacers made their first playoff appearance since 2006 this season in the final year of Bird's contract, and the future looks bright.

O'Neal sent to Raptors; Pacers get Ford
The Toronto Raptors added six-time All-Star Jermaine O'Neal to their lineup on Wednesday in a multiplayer deal with Indiana that sent guard T.J. Ford and center Rasho Nesterovic to the Pacers. The teams agreed to the deal in principle before last month's draft, but it couldn't be officially announced until today. Reports: O'Neal shipped to Raptors for Ford, pick
The Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers have agreed to a blockbuster trade the day before the draft. Multiple media outlets are reporting that Jermaine O'Neal was dealt to the Raptors for point guard T.J. Ford, center Rasho Nesterovic and the No. 17 overall pick. The Pacers also have the No. 11 pick in the draft.

Chris Bosh scored 32 points and the Toronto Raptors remained alone in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with a 104-100 win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday night. Bosh hit 13 of 16 free throws and added eight rebounds and five assists for the Raptors, who won for the third time in four games to pull a game ahead of idle Philadelphia in the playoff race.

Carlos Delfino scored 16 points and Chris Bosh added 14 points and six rebounds to help the Toronto Raptors beat the listless Chicago Bulls 101-71 on Saturday night. The Raptors made quick work out of the Bulls despite playing their fourth game in five nights. T.J. Ford had 14 assists and Andrea Bargnani scored 14 points for Toronto, which had its largest win against Chicago in franchise history.

Kapono, Ford help Raptors earn win
Jason Kapono and T.J. Ford each scored 13 points, and the Toronto Raptors beat Zalgiris Kaunas of the Lithuanian Basketball League 105-99 in an exhibition game on Wednesday night. Jose Calderon added 12 points for the Raptors, who had six players score in double figures. Ford finished with 11 assists. Jonas Maciulis had 24 points for the touring European team, while DeJuan Collins scored 16. The Raptors played their first game in Toronto after a 13-day day trip to Europe.
