Knicks deal Pistons fifth straight loss (AP)

Bill Walker was one of four Knicks with 20-plus points, scoring a career-high 22 in his first career start, and New York handed the Detroit Pistons their fifth straight loss with a 128-104 victory Wednesday night. Al Harrington scored 26 for the Knicks, who won for just the second time in 12 games and clinched the season series for the first time since the 2000-01 season.

Rajon Rondo scored 15 points and had 16 assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 110-106 victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night in a matchup of teams that traded with each other last week. Ray Allen added 24 points, Kevin Garnett 16, Marquis Daniels 14 and Kendrick Perkins 12 as Boston sent New York to its eighth straight loss.




Reports: Rockets trade McGrady to Kings (AP)
Published reports say the Houston Rockets have traded Tracy McGrady and his massive expiring contract to the Sacramento Kings for guards Kevin Martin and Sergio Rodriguez, center Hilton Armstrong and forward Kenny Thomas. The Kings also reportedly will get forward Carl Landry, Houston's most productive bench player this season, and seldom-used forward Joey Dorsey.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 99-91 victory over the struggling Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. The Mavericks used a 13-0 in the second quarter to take command and never trailed again in improving their record away from home to 12-5, the most road wins in the Western Conference.




Kings get control of Hornets for 3rd straight win

The Kings took the lead for good early in the second quarter and led the remainder of the game in upping their home record to 7-2.




Celtics win 11th straight, beat Blazers (AP)

The Boston Celtics finally got a look at the one that got away. Greg Oden made his first visit to Boston on Friday night, and the Celtics banged him around and back to the bench with foul trouble before beating the Portland Trail Blazers 93-78. "I think he's just raw right now," Celtics forward Paul Pierce said.
