Wallace ready for Trail Blazers debut (AP)
Gerald Wallace is still getting over the initial shock of being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. Wallace was acquired from Charlotte on Thursday in a trade deadline deal that sent Joel Przybilla, Sean Marks and Dante Cunningham along with two first-round draft picks to the Bobcats. Wallace said he went to practice Thursday morning and was still a Bobcat.

Aldridge's 29 and 19 power Blazers (AP)

LaMarcus Aldridge had 29 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers shook off injury problems to rout the Milwaukee Bucks 106-80 Monday night. Wesley Matthews added 22 points for the Blazers, who have won three in a row and had only eight players dressed after losing Dante Cunningham early in the game.

Reserve Willie Green scored 13 of his 19 points in the first half, Trevor Ariza added 18, and the New Orleans Hornets got back on track with a 97-78 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night. Chris Paul had 16 points and 13 assists for the Hornets, who had one of the best starts in the NBA but had dropped two of their previous three games on a West Coast road trip.
