New Jersey Nets guard Sasha Vujacic has signed with a Turkish team for next season. Anadolu Efes said Friday the 27-year old Slovenian guard agreed to a one-year deal with an optional second year. It did not say whether Vujacic has an option to return to New Jersey if the NBA lockout is lifted. Vujacic averaged 11.4 points in 56 games last season for the Nets.

D.J. Augustin hit a jumper with 1.1 seconds remaining, leading the Charlotte Bobcats to a 105-103 victory over the New Jersey Nets Monday night. Nets guard Sasha Vujacic, who finished with 19 points, hit a long 3-pointer to tie the game at 103 with 10.9 seconds remaining. Augustin, who had 19 points and 11 assists, brought the ball down the floor.

There aren't many nights when Chris Paul can take the blame for a New Orleans Hornets' loss. The Nets' 103-101 overtime win that snapped a three-game New Jersey losing streak and extended the Hornets' slide to four was one of them. Paul struggled, hitting 4 of 15 shots from the field and turning the ball over seven times.

Brook Lopez scored the tiebreaking basket with 1.4 seconds remaining and the New Jersey Nets beat Cleveland 103-101 on Monday night, handing the Cavaliers their 17th straight defeat. Lopez led the Nets with 28 points and Anthony Morrow scored 16 off the bench. Cleveland's losing streak is its longest since dropping 19 in a row to close the 1981-82 season.

Varejao sprained the ankle when he accidentally stepped on Sasha Vujacic's foot during a win Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Ronny Turiaf and Andrew Bynum each scored 18 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers past the Sacramento Kings 101-97 on Friday night in the team's final preseason game. Turiaf, who was 5-of-7 from the field, had eight rebounds, while Bynum, who was 7-of-10 from the field, had seven. Also for the Lakers, who finished 3-4 in the preseason, Derek Fisher added 15 points with five assists.
