Carney played in 68 games for Philadelphia last season. He averaged 4.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game. Carney was originally selected 16th overall by Chicago in the first round of the 2006 draft.

Sixers beat Nets to end 5-game skid (AP)
Andre Iguodala scored 20 points, Jrue Holiday added 19 points, seven rebounds and seven assists and the Philadelphia 76ers snapped a five-game losing streak with a 108-97 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night. Jason Richardson scored 24 points, Steve Nash had 20 points and 13 assists in his return to the lineup, and the Phoenix Suns beat the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers 106-95 on Wednesday night for their fourth straight victory. The Suns (36-23) have won 10 of 12 and are 13 games over .500 for the first time since the end of the 2007-08 season.
