McGrady helps Rockets end 6-game slide (AP)

Tracy McGrady scored 35 points and Yao Ming had 22 points and 13 rebounds as the Houston Rockets snapped a six-game losing streak with a 109-81 win over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night. Shane Battier grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds and Houston outrebounded Denver 57-38 to overcome their 17 percent shooting from 3-point range (3-for-18).

McGrady, Hayes both solid vs. Jazz
Tracy McGrady scored 47 points and the Houston Rockets got a little revenge for last season's opening-round playoff loss by beating the Utah Jazz 106-95 Thursday night. Mike James added 15 points - two more than the Jazz reserves combined - and Chuck Hayes had 24 rebounds for the Rockets, who improved to 2-0 under new coach Rick Adelman and have yet to play a home game this season.
