Marvin Williams scored 21 points and Jamal Crawford added 20 to power the Atlanta Hawks to a 112-93 victory over the struggling Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. Joe Johnson added 18 points, Al Horford had 12 and Mike Bibby 11 for the Hawks, who have won three straight and five of six. The 76ers, who have lost four in a row and seven of nine, were led by Lou Williams, who had 30 points.

Hawks announce deals with Bibby, Pachulia
The Atlanta Hawks are hustling to keep pace with the Eastern Conference's elite teams. The Hawks, who traded for guard Jamal Crawford last month, on Monday announced they have re-signed unrestricted free agents Mike Bibby and Zaza Pachulia. The Hawks finished the 2008-09 regular season as the No. 4 team in the conference. Coach Mike Woodson said moves made by Eastern Conference powers Boston, Orlando and Cleveland put pressure on the Hawks to also be active this offseason.

Mike Bibby offered a shrug of indifference when asked about the Detroit Pistons' recent domination of his Atlanta Hawks. Why should Bibby care about ancient history? After the way Rajon Rondo played in the first playoff game of his career, even that may be in doubt. Mike Bibby scored 23 points and Joe Johnson added 18 points and 10 assists to lead the Atlanta Hawks over the Washington Wizards, 105-96 on Monday night. The Atlanta Hawks signed guard Jeremy Richardson to a 10-day contract Monday, restoring their roster to 13 players after sending four to the Sacramento Kings in a trade for point guard Mike Bibby. John Salmons scored a career-high 32 points and the Sacramento Kings shook off more bad injury news Wednesday night to beat the New York Knicks 107-97, snapping a four-game losing streak. Artest had elbow surgery earlier in the day, leaving the Kings without perhaps their three best players.
