The Denver Nuggets have signed hometown forward Michael Ruffin, a nine-year NBA pro who most recently played for Portland in 2008-09.

Injuries are piling up for the Chicago Bulls -- and the regular season has yet to begin. Larry Hughes dislocated his right shoulder in the third quarter of the Bulls' 85-75 preseason victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. He joins Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas and Michael Ruffin on the sidelines.

Knicks rally, end 8-game losing skid (AP)

Jamal Crawford scored 30 points, Fred Jones added 18, and the New York Knicks overcame a 17-point, third-quarter deficit to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 99-98 Saturday night and break an eight-game losing streak. David Lee added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Knicks, who had matched their longest skid of the season with an overtime loss to San Antonio on Friday.

Redd, Bogut lead Bucks by Pacers 104-92 (AP)

Michael Redd scored 37 points and Andrew Bogut had 17 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 104-92 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night. Redd scored 10 in the fourth quarter, playing every minute of the second half and 45 minutes overall as the Bucks won for only the second time in eight games.

Bucks forward Michael Ruffin will miss four to six weeks with a broken left wrist. Ruffin was injured in the second half of Sunday's 113-88 loss in San Antonio when he tried to block a shot. The 30-year-old was wearing a cast on his left hand at practice Tuesday. Ruffin had played sparingly in all six games for the Bucks, who are off to a 2-4 start and play Memphis on Wednesday.
