Tim Duncan scored 22 points and the San Antonio Spurs won their fifth straight with a 97-89 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night. Tony Parker added 16 points and the Spurs extended their longest winning streak since last December, when they climbed back up the standings after a similar slow start last season.

Tony Parker scored 32 points, hitting two of San Antonio's three baskets in the second overtime, and Michael Finley blocked Memphis' last shot to send the Spurs to a 106-103 victory Saturday night. Luther Head scored 21 points in place of the injured Tracy McGrady and the Houston Rockets used balanced scoring to beat the San Antonio Spurs 103-84 on Saturday night. Ron Artest added 16 points and eight rebounds, Yao Ming and Rafer Alston scored 12 points apiece and Luis Scola added 11 for Houston, which had all five starters in double-figures for just the second time this season.

Michael Finley scored 21 points and Tim Duncan had 20, including two key baskets in the final minute, in the San Antonio Spurs' 90-88 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night. Duncan's short jumper tied it with 49 seconds left and his bank shot off a drive put San Antonio ahead for good at 90-88 with 15.5 seconds remaining.

The much-hyped matchup between the Southwest Division rivals turned out to be more of a dud. The Spurs had the lead for nearly the entire game and led by as many as 25 points.

Michael Finley and Fabricio Oberto each scored a season-high 21 points Saturday night in the San Antonio Spurs' 102-91 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
