The Golden State Warriors acquired Marcus Williams from the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday, filling their need for a backup point guard. The Warriors, who lost Baron Davis to the Los Angeles Clippers in free agency, traded a conditional first-round draft pick to the Nets for Williams, a first-round pick in 2006.

Hakim Warrick scored a season-high 25 points and the Memphis Grizzlies snapped their nine-game losing streak with a 100-93 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night. Warrick connected on 9-of-15 from the field as Memphis won for the first time since Feb. 12. The teams were tied at 73 after three periods, and Memphis entered the game 1-39 when tied or trailing entering the final quarter.

Hedo Turkoglu scored 17 his 25 points in the fourth quarter and the Orlando Magic won their third straight game, 102-92 over the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday night. Rashard Lewis added 25 points, and slam dunk champion Dwight Howard had his 50th double-double of the season (17 points, 10 rebounds) as Orlando ran its streak of 100-point games to nine.

Tim Duncan scored 20 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 113-91 victory Saturday over Panathinaikos of Greece. The reigning NBA champion Spurs never trailed against the Euroleague champions and were up by as many as 29 in the exhibition game.
