Chase Budinger and Kyle Lowry each scored 12 points, and the Rockets used a 57-13 edge in scoring from their backups to win their third straight and fourth in five games.

Grizzlies waive Stoudamire
-The Memphis Grizzlies waived veteran point guard Damon Stoudamire on Monday and plan to release him if he clears waivers. Stoudamire, a former first-round pick in his 13th season out of Arizona, had been relegated to third-string status behind rookie Mike Conley, the fourth overall pick in last year's draft, and Kyle Lowry in his second year out of Villanova.

Here's one sign the Memphis Grizzlies are improving under new coach Marc Iavaroni. It only took them 14 games to win consecutive games. Not bad, compared to a year ago when it took them almost a full season -- 73 games -- to string wins together.
