Raymond Felton added 22 points, hitting six 3s for Denver, while J.R. Smith hit five 3s and finished with 18 points. Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin received some good news Monday when an MRI on his surgically repaired right knee found only a bone bruise. Martin is listed as doubtful for Wednesday night's game against Indiana and will be day to day after that. The Nuggets could ill afford to have Martin out for an extended period.

Martin has history of knee woes
Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin was scheduled to undergo an MRI Monday after straining his right knee in a game against Houston. Martin missed the second half of Saturday's game against the Rockets. Martin has had knee troubles before. Over the previous two seasons, he missed 106 games because of microfracture surgeries on both knees. The 6-foot-9, 240-pound Martin averages 8.6 points and 4.9 rebounds this season.

Carmelo Anthony scored 31 points and Kenyon Martin had a season-high 18 to lift the Denver Nuggets to a 99-93 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. The Nuggets have now won seven of their last eight games, including five in a row at the Pepsi Center. The Timberwolves are still searching for their first road win, falling to 0-4 away from home.

Carmelo Anthony scored 26 points, Marcus Camby added 12 points and 20 rebounds and the Denver Nuggets beat the slumping Chicago Bulls 112-91 Tuesday night. Allen Iverson scored 22 points and Kenyon Martin had 13 for the Nuggets, who have won six straight. Rookie reserve Joakim Noah had 16 points for Chicago, which fell to 2-8, its worst start since 2004-05 when it was 0-9.

Carmelo Anthony had 25 points and Allen Iverson had 20 as the Denver Nuggets beat the Portland Trail Blazers 110-93 Wednesday night. Kenyon Martin had a season-high 14 points and Marcus Camby had a game-high 13 rebounds for the Nuggets, who won their fourth straight after dropping their previous three.
