Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 99-91 victory over the struggling Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. O'Neal leads Suns past Mavs 128-100 (AP)
Shaquille O'Neal had 25 points and 10 rebounds and the Phoenix Suns used a third-quarter scoring deluge to bury the Dallas Mavericks 128-100 on Friday night. Jason Richardson added 21 points and Leandro Barbosa had 20 in the Suns' highest-scoring game of the season. The Suns outscored the Mavs 40-19 in the third, a Phoenix season high in scoring for a quarter, to turn the game into a rout.
Dirk, Terry lead Mavs over Bobcats 95-90 (AP)
Dirk Nowitzki hit a key 3-pointer with less than 30 seconds to play and finished with 23 points to help the Dallas Mavericks beat the trade-depleted Charlotte Bobcats 95-90 on Thursday night. Jason Terry had 26 points for the Mavericks, 10-0 against the Bobcats. Emeka Okafor had a season-high 27 points and 17 rebounds, and Raymond Felton added 16 points for Charlotte.

Josh Howard scored 18 points, Dirk Nowitzki added 13 points and eight rebounds, and the Dallas Mavericks beat the San Antonio Spurs 88-67 on Tuesday night in the preseason opener for both teams.
