Odom, Bryant key Lakers' win over Pistons
Lamar Odom had 25 points and 15 rebounds, and Kobe Bryant and Jordan Farmar made key plays down the stretch to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 103-91 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. The Lakers trailed 74-72 with eight minutes remaining, but took control from there. Parker's 26 points, nine assists do trick
Tony Parker had 26 points and nine assists, and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Los Angeles Lakers 107-92 Tuesday night for their fourth straight victory. Bruce Bowen went 6-of-6 from 3-point range for the Spurs and finished with 23 points. Manu Ginobili added 17 points. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 18 points, well below the 30.4 he was averaging before the game. Jordan Farmar added 16 and Lamar Odom had 12.

Peja Stojakovic made a franchise-record 10 3-pointers, and Chris Paul established another Hornets team mark with 21 assists Tuesday night in New Orleans' 118-104 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Stojakovic missed just three of 13 shots from behind the arc and finished with 36 points. He was just 2-of-8 shooting two-pointers.




Lakers pick up options for C Bynum, PG Farmar
The Los Angeles Lakers have exercised a fourth-year contract option on Andrew Bynum, and picked up the third-year contract option on Jordan Farmar.

The Los Angeles Lakers have exercised a fourth-year contract option on Andrew Bynum, and picked up the third-year contract option on Jordan Farmar. Bynum, taken by the Lakers out of high school with the 10th selection in the 2005 NBA draft, averaged 7.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.56 blocks while playing in all 82 games last season.
