The Hornets have signed journeyman guard Jason Hart to a 10-day contract because of an injury to shooting guard Marcus Thornton. A hard fall in the fourth-quarter of the Hornets' loss to Oklahoma City on Wednesday left Thornton with a lower-back contusion that was expected to keep him out of Friday night's home game against Philadelphia.
