Jason Collins left Atlanta's game against San Antonio with a sprained left ankle. Collins, who started at center, suffered the injury with 3:10 remaining in the first half of Tuesday night's game. Collins fell back when defending Tim Duncan and appeared to collide with teammate Al Horford. Collins was escorted to the Hawks' locker room.

Al Horford had 18 points and 12 rebounds, Joe Johnson added 15 points and the Atlanta Hawks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 95-80 on Monday night to snap a five-game road losing streak. The Hawks (20-13) were back in Milwaukee for the first time since winning a pivotal Game 6 in the first round of the playoffs to send the series back to Atlanta where they won to advance.

Brook Lopez scored a season-high 32 points and the New Jersey Nets snapped a three-game losing streak with a 106-99 overtime victory over the slumping Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night. Devin Harris added 23 of his 27 points in the second half, Kris Humphries had 12 points and 14 rebounds, and Anthony Morrow had five of his 13 points in overtime in New Jersey's first home game in 10 days.

The Hawks re-signed Collins on Thursday. Collins appeared in only 24 games last season, scoring 16 points and grabbing 14 rebounds while averaging only 4.7 minutes.

The Phoenix Suns on Monday were awarded the rights to center Jarron Collins, who was waived last week by the Portland Trail Blazers. The 6-foot-11 Collins is an eight-year NBA veteran who played for the Utah Jazz. He has career averages of 4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 480 games. The 30-year-old Collins is the younger twin brother of Atlanta Hawks center Jason Collins.

The move comes about a week after the Hawks signed 6-foot-10 forward Joe Smith. Hawks general manager Rick Sund said the 7-foot Collins, an eight-year veteran, will add size "and a good interior defensive presence," to the Hawks.

The Memphis Grizzlies waived former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker on Thursday. The 6-foot-9, 245-pound forward has not played this season. He was acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves in June along with the draft rights to guard O.J. Mayo and guards Greg Buckner and Marko Jaric in exchange for the draft rights to forward Kevin Love, swingman Mike Miller, forward Brian Cardinal and center Jason Collins. Minnesota Timberwolves center Jason Collins had surgery to repair a ruptured triceps tendon in his right elbow. The team said Thursday that Collins was injured in a freak golf accident when his cart skidded on some wet ground and tipped over. The Wolves acquired Collins in a draft-night deal with Memphis that also brought them Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and rookie Kevin Love.

The 6-foot-10 Swift is expected to add athleticism to the frontcourt of the Nets, who have lost 10 of their last 12 games. Swift averaged 6.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in seven seasons with Memphis and one with the Houston Rockets.
