The Phoenix Suns sure look like they've figured out that Shaquille O'Neal thing. Amare Stoudemire had 30 points and 10 rebounds, and the Suns won their fourth in a row Saturday night with a 127-99 rout of the Sacramento Kings. Gordan Giricek, like O'Neal a recent addition, scored 17 of his season-high 23 points in the first half for Phoenix.

Amare Stoudemire scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 30 minutes, and the Phoenix Suns beat the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth time in a row with a 132-111 rout on Tuesday night. Raja Bell added 20 points, including 18 in the third quarter, for the Suns. Gordan Giricek scored 18, his best output since coming to Phoenix on March 4, as did Leandro Barbosa, and Grant Hill had 17.

The Phoenix Suns signed guard Gordan Giricek on Tuesday to a contract for the rest of the season. Giricek, waived by the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, joins his fifth NBA team. The 6-foot-6 Croatian played parts of six seasons with Memphis, Orlando and Utah before being traded to Philadelphia last Dec. 29. Suns general manager Steve Kerr called the 30-year-old Giricek "an excellent shooter, a solid defender and a proven playoff performer." He shot a career-best 42.

Guard Gordan Giricek was released by the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday, allowing the veteran a chance to be eligible for the postseason if he signs with another team. Giricek barely played for the Sixers since he was acquired in the late December trade that sent Kyle Korver to the Utah Jazz. He averaged only 3.1 points and 9.2 minutes in 12 games.

Gordan Giricek is back with the Utah Jazz, a week after coach Jerry Sloan ordered him to the locker room during a road game against Charlotte and then sent him home. The sixth-year veteran guard was in uniform Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers after spending the last three games back in Salt Lake City. But he declined to detail the reasons for his heated discussion with Sloan during a timeout in the second quarter of Utah's 98-92 loss at Charlotte on Dec. 19.
