Utah Jazz guard Deron Williams will miss his third straight game Wednesday night against Charlotte because of a wrist injury. The Jazz are 1-1 without Williams, who will be replaced in the starting lineup by Earl Watson. Reserve center Mehmet Okur will miss his 34th game of the season, and the second straight because of a lower-back strain.

NBA veteran guard Earl Watson has filed for divorce from his wife Jennifer Freeman, claiming the "My Wife and Kids" actress attacked him with an iron and bit him on the chest until he bled, gossip website TMZ reported late Wednesday.

Paul Pierce missed his first 10 shots and then scored 16 points in the fourth quarter, including seven straight to put the Boston Celtics ahead for good in a 103-94 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. He also has played with Seattle, Memphis and Denver in eight NBA seasons.
