Brandon Jennings and Earl Boykins each scored 18 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 110-90 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. Boykins had all of his points in the first half, then Jennings scored 14 in the third quarter as Milwaukee enjoyed its second blowout in two days, thanks to 55.1 percent shooting.

Boykins has averaged 9.3 points and 3.4 assists per game during his NBA career.

The Washington Wizards have signed free-agent guard Earl Boykins after a series of injuries at that position and waived center Paul Davis. Boykins has averaged 9.4 points and 3.4 assists in 10 NBA seasons with eight teams. He played in Italy last season. Davis averaged 2.5 points and 1.5 assists in two appearances for the Wizards (2-6) this season.

The agent for veteran guard Earl Boykins said Monday that Boykins is on his way back to Italy despite overseas reports that he would be leaving his Italian club and possibly returning to the NBA.

Unrestricted free agent Earl Boykins signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal to play with Virtus Bologna of the Italian league. Boykins' agent, Andy Bountogianis, confirmed the signing on Tuesday. The 32-year-old point guard will be the highest-paid player in Italy for the 2008-09 season. He also will participate in the sponsorship and marketing income of the team. The 5-foot-5 Boykins, who played at Eastern Michigan, has been in the NBA for 10 years, and averaged 9.4 points.

Flip Murray scored 22 points, and the Indiana Pacers beat the Charlotte Bobcats 102-95 Wednesday night for their second straight win. Troy Murphy had 18 points and 13 rebounds and Shawne Williams, who had been benched for five straight games, scored 14 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter for Indiana.




Prince, Pistons roll to seventh straight (AP)

Tayshaun Prince scored 14 of his 21 points in the first quarter and the Detroit Pistons won their seventh straight game, 113-87 over the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday night. The Pistons went 5-0 on an 11-day homestand, and were only seriously challenged in the first game, when they beat the Lakers on Prince's late 3-pointer.
