Cavs extend Brown through 2010-11
Cavaliers coach Mike Brown received a two-year contract extension Monday that will keep him with the club through the 2010-11 season. Brown is in his third season with the Cavaliers, who won their first Eastern Conference title last season before they were swept in the finals by San Antonio. His contract was to expire after the 2008-09 season. Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry and owner Dan Gilbert had been discussing an extension since the summer.
