Agent: Bogans to sign 1-year deal with Spurs
Guard Keith Bogans is the latest newcomer to the San Antonio Spurs. Bogans' agent, Michael Harrison, says he is set to sign a guaranteed one-year deal with the Spurs before training camp starts next week. San Antonio will be Bogan's fifth team in seven seasons. The 29-year-old Bogans averaged 5.6 points playing for Orlando and Milwaukee last season. His biggest asset to the Spurs will be on defense after the Spurs traded away Bruce Bowen this summer. Bowen has since retired.

League MVP Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett were selected to the NBA All-Defensive Team on Monday, along with Marcus Camby, Bruce Bowen and Tim Duncan. Garnett, who helped the Boston Celtics to the league's best record, was chosen for the ninth time. The forward was chosen Defensive Player of the Year last month. Tony Parker and Michael Finley scored 22 points apiece and the San Antonio Spurs cruised past the Houston Rockets 109-88 on Sunday for their seventh straight victory. The much-hyped matchup between the Southwest Division rivals turned out to be more of a dud. The Spurs had the lead for nearly the entire game and led by as many as 25 points.
