Dwight Howard had a season-high 32 points, 21 rebounds and four blocks, and Rashard Lewis added 24 points to help the Orlando Magic beat the Indiana Pacers 110-96 on Saturday night. Hedo Turkoglu added 22 points, and Anthony Johnson had a season-high 16. The Magic have won four in a row and nine of their last 10.




Magic sign PG Johnson to back up Nelson
The Orlando Magic signed veteran free-agent point guard Anthony Johnson on Tuesday. Johnson will back up starter Jameer Nelson as he enters his 12th NBA season. He played in 69 games last season for the Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings. Johnson had a brief stint with Orlando in the 1999-2000 season, appearing in 18 games. The 33-year-old guard has played with seven different teams, averaging 5.7 points and 2.9 assists.

Kings waive PG Lue (AP)
The Sacramento Kings waived point guard Tyronn Lue on Friday, putting another veteran free agent on the market for teams looking for depth down the stretch and in the playoffs. Lue never played for the Kings. He was acquired Feb. 16 as part of a trade that brought Anthony Johnson, Sheldon Williams and Lorenzen Wright from Atlanta.

Hawks agree to acquire Bibby from Kings (AP)
The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to acquire veteran point guard Mike Bibby from the Sacramento Kings. Hawks owner Michael Gearon Jr. says the Hawks are to send four players to the Kings. Among them are 2007 first-round pick Shelden Williams and starting point guard Anthony Johnson. The Hawks also would send guard Tyronn Lue and veteran forward-center Lorenzen Wright to the Kings.

Johnson was assessed the flagrant foul and ejected for hitting Calderon's head with his forearm in the second quarter of the Raptors' 89-78 win Friday. Besides the suspension, Johnson was assessed a flagrant foul, penalty two, NBA executive vice president Stu Jackson said in a press release Sunday.

Andrew Bogut continued his recent tear with 21 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots and the Milwaukee Bucks beat cold-shooting Atlanta 87-80 on Wednesday night. The Hawks, losers of 18 of their last 20 in Milwaukee, failed to hit a field goal for more than 12 minutes spanning the third and fourth quarters, missing 13 straight shots before Anthony Johnson hit a 3-pointer with 1:04 left.

Josh Smith remembers losing. The Atlanta Hawks forward had more rebounds Monday night than his team had wins in his entire rookie season. Smith had 25 points and a season-high 16 rebounds as the Hawks evened their record at 10-10 with a 98-87 victory over the Orlando Magic.
