Free agent Andrei Kirilenko will remain in Russia and finish the season with CSKA Moscow rather than return to the NBA, the team reported on its website Saturday.

Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko has signed a 3-year contract with Russia's CSKA team that he can terminate if the NBA lockout ends. The deal was announced on the team's website. Kirilenko will become an unrestricted free agent once the 2011-12 NBA campaign begins but has expressed a desire to play for the team that drafted him 24th overall in 1999.

Andrei Kirilenko scored seven of his 16 points in overtime to lead the short-handed Utah Jazz to a 112-107 victory against Philadelphia on Monday night. The Jazz led by as many as 21 points in the second quarter, 18 in the third and 15 in the fourth before Philadelphia rallied. The Sixers had a 103-101 lead with 11.5 seconds left in regulation thanks to a 14-point quarter by Andre Iguodala.

Although Andrei Kirilenko is hoping for a Russian revolution in the wake of Mikhail Prokhorov's recent purchase of the New Jersey Nets, it's LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal that are on his mind ahead of the start of the NBA season. Kirilenko, who plays for the Utah Jazz and will be headed to Europe for a pair of preseason games, told The Associated Press in a telephone interview Tuesday that O'Neal's move to join James with the Cleveland Cavaliers is going to cause havoc around the league.

Carlos Boozer scored 31 points and Deron Williams had 20 points and 13 assists to lead the Utah Jazz over the sloppy Memphis Grizzlies 118-94 Saturday night. Andrei Kirilenko had 15 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists to fall just shy of his third career triple-double as the Jazz won their third game in a row. Down by 25, the Grizzlies used a small lineup sparked by Michael Conley's slashing drives to make it 100-87 on Casey Jacobsen's 3-pointer with 5:39 remaining.

Bryant was 13-for-19 from the field and fellow guard Derek Fisher added 19 points, including a career-high 13 free throws.

Report: Meeting with Sloan eased Kirilenko's mind

Kirilenko faced reporters after the meeting and tried his best to steer the conversation toward Tuesday's opening of training camp instead of his request to be traded.
